This pattern is an “ADD ON” to the original CASEY POUCHETTE, WHICH YOU MUST HAVE in order to complete the BOXED BOTTOM version!

LEATHER / VINYL/CORK/FABRIC EXTERIOR

  • MAIN BODY/OVERLAY/STRAP TABS - 2.5 sq. ft. OR 1 piece 14” x 24”
  • CROSSBODY STRAP - 1 piece 2” x 50”

INTERIOR FABRIC/INTERFACINGS/STABILIZERS

  • Quilting cotton - ⅔ yard of 45”wide
  • Medium weight fusible interfacing - ⅔ yd of 44” wide
  • Decovil Light - 1 strip ⅜” x 50” (Crossbody strap), 2 pieces ⅜” x 2½” (strap tabs)
  • FABRIC EXTERIOR - 1 piece of stabilizer 12” x 24” (this stabilizer is used to give your exterior body, so chose your product according to the stability and thickness you want to achieve)

HARDWARE

  • 2 - ½” D-rings
  • 2 - double capped rivets - size 9.2mm with various post lengths
  • 2 - #5 nylon/metal zipper tape with pulls - 1 @ 10”, and 1 @ 13”
  • 1 - 8” - #3 nylon zipper with pull

OPTIONAL GROMMET HARDWARE

  • 4 - 9mm force fit grommets
  • 2 - 38mm gated rings

  • Bonded nylon thread Tex 70 #69 OR bonded polyester

  • Fabric glue (most brands will do that state “use for fabric”)
  • Tandy Eco Weld water-based leather glue OR Springfield EverTack (for leather)(optional)
  • Rubber/Contact cement (for vinyl or for leather) (optional)
  • ⅛” and ¼” DST  (double-sided tape)
  • ⅛” rivet hole punch and rivet setter for double capped rivets
  • Poly roller tool
  • Poly/rubber mallet (optional)
  • Teflon foot/walking foot
  • Sewing machine
  • #16 - #18 leather needle
  • Scissor
  • Tandy™ leather edge paint or edge paint of your choice
  • Skewer or edge paint roller tool
