The strap tabs and front slider require leather, vinyl, or cork, as raw edges are exposed and may require edge paint.

PIPING AND CORDING INFORMATION
The piping strips that are listed in the cutting chart are 1⅛” wide. This width is perfect for a 1.8mm piping cord and leaves the required ⅜” for the seam allowance. Depending on how thick your vinyl, cork, or leather is, OR if you are using a different size cording, you may need to cut your piping strips a little wider to allow for the extra bulk. To determine the cut width, take a scrap piece of the piping you want to use and wrap it around the cording, allow for the ⅜” SA on both sides, mark and measure to get the width. When using vinyl, fabric, or cork the piping strips will need to be cut on a 45-degree bias and you will need a piece that measures 20” x 25”.
